I was thinking about what you said, about getting a bench type seat. If you use a bench seat, you're probably going to have a gap between the seat and the frame. Also you'll probably have to modify the front seat mount in order to make one fit up under the gas tank tab.

It'd look pretty cool if you could turn a Savage into a cafe racer...damn now you got my imagination in over drive.

As for scootin' the pegs and levers back, that's gonna take some creative work. i'm in Korea right now and several thousand miles from home, so i don't have something to look at. Good luck though.
